the beginning

My Ethos

Nadair Botanics began with a need for simplicity.

After reacting to heavily fragranced skincare, I returned to the skin’s most essential state: calm.

From there, I began removing what was unnecessary.

The principle

The Scottish woodlands

During walks to get away from the fast paced modern life, I became immersed in the Scottish Forests, which became my reference point, not as symbolism, but as structure.

Balanced, restrained, and without excess, it reflects the way I approach formulation: quiet and grounding.

The Craft

Handmade by me

Alongside skincare, I work with natural fibres and textile processes shaped by my formal training in historical costumery.

These practices form the brand today, from traditional methods of natural dyeing using plant pigments, to a slower, more considered approach to making.

A reminder to stay grounded within the hustle and bustle of our modern day lives.

The Heritage

My Influence

My grandmother was a seamstress, making uniforms during the war.

She worked with great precision, creating what was needed with patience and purpose. I feel a deep connection to that way of making, and a desire to continue it in my own form as though it has always been part of me.

This has always inspired me to continue her legacy and craft in all my creations.

Nadair Botanics brings these ideas together: skincare, craft, and material honesty into a lifestyle.

Simple formulations. Considered ingredients. A focus on simplicity over complexity.

Not driven by trend or excess, but by the belief that what we use on our skin should feel as grounded and intentional as the environments that inspire it.
